We build programs that do good
It all begins with an idea. The idea to do good. To fix a problem. To fill the gap. To help someone.
Maybe you want to launch a non-profit, or you already have one. Maybe you have a business idea but need help finding funding. Or maybe you have something growing inside of you that you want to see come true in order to help a group of people. The common goal? You want to help people. You want to do good.
We can help.

Mission. Vision. Values
Mission
Our mission is to facilitate economic and community development in the metro Bakersfield area and Kern County, California and beyond by connecting nonprofits, schools, and businesses with grants for good.
Vision
Our vision is to play a pivotal role in bringing larger grant funds to Kern County and other regions of need in order to make the world a better place. We believe in good. We believe in cultivating a healthy non-profit ecosystem so those leading programs can achieve excellent results through education, ethics and rights training, community assessments, and process improvements. Our goal is to make sure the grants we write do good.
Values
Financial Integrity
Financial integrity is our most important core value. As a result, we provide referrals to third-party fiscal agents who are independently audited to manage the grant funding our clients receive if they need external support for fund management.
Client Rights
It is our goal to teach nonprofits and programs the importance of educating their staff, program managers and leadership on client rights in order to ensure every client matters and every dollar we get does good. Not harm. In turn, organizations also limit their liability and can focus on the greatest good—helping people.
Process Improvement
Along with client’s rights, the client experience is key. When we work with you, you are guided through process improvement strategies and matched with grants that allow programs to use funds for that purpose. The goal is to make a client’s ability to access your program as easy and painless as possible.
Big Picture Thinking
Strategic thinking is key in our line of work. There’s nothing worse than starting a great program, only for it to get canceled after two years because of limited funding. Clients are educated about how to think broadly as they develop programs and consider larger regional and state economic and community development initiatives in their planning.
Relationship Building
A healthy grant funded program should be established on the premise that relationship building is crucial for its success. Key leadership and staff should ensure that all key players are respected and welcome—from clients to people with lived experience, to government stakeholders and other community or program staffers. We cannot do good in a silo.
