Grants for Good Launches Building Better Programs Training Series to Empower Community Leaders

New Classes and Events to Help Fund Better Programs for the Community

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bakersfield, CA – July 16, 2024 – Grants for Good, a leading innovator in funding strategies and grant writing, is excited to announce the launch of its new training series, Building Better Programs. This initiative offers a series of classes and events designed to educate community leaders on how to secure funding and develop better programs for their communities.

“We are different from other grant writing organizations and nonprofit service providers. We embody the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship,” said Grants for Good founder, Lisa Kerr. “As a Taft native, we also believe it’s important to invest in local talent and workforce development. Imagine finding yourself a client of a homeless shelter and then going on to lead a nonprofit organization committed to helping others access food. These are our clients. Our training brings what was once only accessible to the mega wealthy and philanthropic elite to everyone.”

Introducing the Building Better Programs Series

Grants for Good’s new training series offers practical, hands-on classes and events that cover everything from identifying funding sources to writing compelling grant proposals.
